Blue Buffalo has never been particularly well thought of in a lot of dog food "geek" circles (particularly the Sabine Contreras/The Dog Food Project crowd). The company has never been very forthcoming to consumers about things like the sourcing of their ingredients, etc. I have used their products a few times, but I've never felt really good about them as a company. Will be interesting to see what happens with these lawsuits.
