I agree with Dr Doug; it's not the presence of grains or by-products in Blue Buffalo that I find a problem. It's their ad campaigns telling consumers these are unhealthy for all dogs and that their food is better because it does not have these (which is now debatable).
If anyone wants to debate what wild canines consume first I'll post photos of lamb/sheep carcasses after coyotes/wolves killed them and partially consumed them. Let's just say; leg, loin, and shoulder were not their preferred cuts.
