Yes, but some have a much higher rate of recalls and repeat recalls indicating problems.
Most companies list where their dog food is made.
When a company refuses to tell where their dog food is made IMHO is a red flag.
Remember all the 'numerous' recalls from one plant, I.E.the Gaston plant and the resulting investigation that they didn't follow all the protocols for safe manufacturing? My guess is Buffalo dog food is manufactured there which is why they refuse to divulge where their dog food is made. Because so many pet owners where changing to dog food that was NOT made at that plant.
From what I have seen the dog food industry is the only company that is not required to list where their product is made. IMHO That needs to be changed.
I know I am ticked. I switched to Blue Buffalo. Thought I was done with all that nonsense of trying to find a good safe dog food that actually contained what was listed on the label. :(
