Calvin's Back In Buziness! ... Now with Pitchers p.3
You'all know that Calvin bought us a new Jeep a few weeks ago. Well ever since we brought the kid home back in mid 2009, his "custom made seat" (a friend made for him) has always been between me and Harlee (RIP).
This seat also gave him "ANOTHER" place for him to lay down (it's NOT like he doesn't have 3/4 of Jeep to sleep, right?), as well as giving him an easy access to the rear cargo area. Which happens to be where "HIS" bed is.
OK, I heard that! I know you already saw this photo, BUT let me finish my story, OK!
Anyways before I was rudely interrupted, as I was about to say was. Our new Jeep has a center console arm rest in it. Which 1) he lost "HIS" seat, and 2) it makes it a bit awkward for him to get in the back.
During the past couple of weeks while driving in the Jeep. I can see it in his eyes that he's really bummed out about this, SO .... As Pops' does for the "Royal PITA, I mean, Highness" ... :B, we just got back from talking to the owner of a Off-Road Custom Jeep Shop regarding the possibility of modding the arm rest (as in chopping up the center console of a NEW JEEP ... :S).
SO again, come Monday morning, here's a photo (which BTW, you haven't seen before)...
He's gonna cut down the base of the center console which supports the arm rest to the level of Calvin's seat.
Which also means, if we ever sell this Jeep. Pops' is gonna have to buy and install a new center console. Unless, now this is a very long, long shot, the buyer has a dog, and or the buyer has extremely long arms so he / she can use his seat as an arm rest.
Anyways, I'm tired, couldn't go to sleep so I figured I'd keep you'all up as well.
That's the way it goes I guess, when you live with a dog named CALVIN!
