LOL....NO static - we're in FL and the humidity sucks.
That being said - the old dish, the one that caused all the ruckus, was stainless with a rolled-edge lip. I wonder if his dog tags had gotten snagged momentarily, and scared him?? (Although I never saw any spilled water) He now has a hard plastic, heavy, slope-sided bowl - and that seems to be passing muster now?? He's no longer sneaking up on the bowl like the bogeyman is going to jump out at him....LOL! But he still has a "bleagh" look on his face when he drinks, so as soon as I can find a hole cutter for the kitchen sink, I'll get that filter hooked up.
