I disagree. Just maintain physical control of your dog. My weim was the aggressor but he felt provoked when the dog entered his space uninvited.
Using your logic, my weim should be excluded from CGs. He's been camping with us for 13 yrs and has traveled all over Europe without incident. He's accompanied to many hotels and restaurants (Germany) and was a perfect gentleman. People would be surprised when he would come out from under the table to leave.
If we were walking our dogs and passing each other, he wouldn't even blink. He likes people. I'll stick up for him until my last breath, he would do the same for me. Period.
It's not the dog's issue...it's human's being obtuse, thinking that rules don't pertain to them.
