just a reminder what real winter looks like :(this is a 6 ft fencewe have so much snow we don't know where to put it..and when the snow is not falling...the temp is...into the -40c range...

And we're in drought mode here! Send some of it down to the lower states in the West if you can.

We have a ton of snow, too. My mastiff, Sunny loves it. She looks like a Polar bear when she comes in. Izzy and Zara look a little out of their comfort zone!

Thanks bro, I just showed the wife so as not to hear any of that "we'll see" talk when it comes to leaving again next fall. :)After staying in Texas this year I think she's convinced.

Regarding that subject: we've had nonstop snow since November. The snow in my yard is now 2' deep. I have a small yard; and that snow is going to melt at some point....... and then I get to pick up 4+ months'-worth of soggy dog poo. For dogs like my Jimmy, who prefers to go in the same spot every day (but of course it gets covered with a fresh layer of snow) - there will seriously be a MOUNTAIN of poo.

Spring is going to be disgusting.

I'd invite you here to sunny So Cal where it's been 70's and 80's this week. But.....you'd need to be ready for the overdue "Big One" when the San Andreas decides to change locations, and even more likely, the wildfires because we're in a record breaking drought. I was born in California because my parents escaped the Oklahoma Dust Bowl in the 1930's. Guess what? Looks like we've come full circle.:E

Precipitation.... I remember that...

We did have snow last November. I hear talk of precip next week. Not snow from the look of it, but we'll take any drop of anything at this point.

It was almost 70 and sunny here today. Don't be too jealous because the next northerner is coming and the high for the next two days will be in the lows 20's. :p
