yes, and I was never going to have a cat. Now I have a cat that for some reason ignores my wife and follows me everywhere... she loves cats and I love dogs...

Would give my right arm to have our golden retriever back again, and afraid to get another in case we keep comparing which wouldn't be fair.

One thing about goldens, they are all pretty much the same so the new one will be pretty much like the old one.

She never went upstairs or on our carpets, unless daughter encouraged her down to her basement bedroom when we were away, but soon as her dad got back, she knew! Always turned her head away whenever we sat down to eat, but the minute she saw us getting the RV ready to travel, no rules applied (LOL). She just loved to go RVing with us and always knew her bed, but when she smelt any body of water she always went deaf to any commands.

Truly our little girl in a fur coat that stole everyone's hearts. RIP Angel.
