No one has tried to see if they can Susan. He posted a photo of the buck laying peacefully behind a shrub in the back yard. Which also shows his swollen front hoof.
The buck left the yard sometime late this afternoon, but (as they're expecting) will more then likely show back up again. The reason being is the does are still around.
Over the past four years, (one year) they saw him limping about. They figured he may've been hit by a car which has since been healed. He also lost, or broke his left rack to (from the photo of him) about four inches above his head.
