I went to the US Walmart site and it said "Sterlite 30 gallon tote box (steel).
I thought wow...a steel tote? That sounds durable!
After reading through and watching the video...I realized that steel referred to the color of the plastic. :S

The pressure is so minimal that I am not the least bit worried about it. This one will work great for me. Thanks for steering me in the direction of totes that will work well. I am glad you found the one that works well for you.

"Fits almost perfectly" and "my Q is a tiny bit too long" may mean your Q's gas valve is pressing against the tote wall - not good. Since the Sterilite tote is a bit taller than needed but the walls flare outward I installed foam supports in the bottom of my bin, effectively raising the Q a couple of inches and thereby "buying" more bin length, so there's no pressure on the gas valve. :)

I went to Target to find the specific tub that Soundguy used. While there, I saw another that I thought might work a little better and picked it up too. My Weber Q1000 fits almost perfectly in it. My
q is a tiny bit too long, but not so much that the lid still fits very well. It is: Sterilite® 108 Qt Industrial Utility Storage Tote - Black with Red Latch.

If you had read the text accompanying the pic showing my Q120 stored in the tote we're discussing you'd have your answer. :R

Mine goes in the back of the pickup. I am kind of anal about having things in storage boxes/totes so they don't bounce around and get damaged or damage something else. Any drip pan spill would be contained in a container that I can wash out instead of making a mess on my pickup bed. You wouldn't know it from looking at my shop, but I really do like things to be organized!!

I`m curious why you even need store the Q in a tote. I bought a Weber cover for mine ad doesn`t get messy enough to get anything else dirty. Mine just sits on the floor of the 5vr basement with no issues.

These days the equivalent to my Weber Q120 is the Q1200, now available in a variety of colours.

That Sterilite bin is a touch taller than it needs to be to house the Q120 / Q1200 so I added ~ 1.5" thick styrofoam pads to the bottom of the bin for the Q's feet to sit on, elevating the Q and allowing it to fit the bin just that much more comfortably since the walls flare outward a bit.
