Magnus, there was definitely some kind of miscommunication on the dinette. But they flat out mis-measured the shower. WLToo pointed out the line where the previous shower wall had been. And they admitted they should have automatically ordered new registers when they put in the floor, instead of just reinstalling those old rusted tacky ones.
When the main guy gets back on Monday, he'll call and we'll sort out the shower pay or not pay issue. The other stuff we would pay for, no sweat.
Most of the watermelon is gone from the porch. I do wonder how much of it the fox ate, or maybe another critter that may have wandered by, versus the deer. The fox didn't return during daylight hours, so WLToo did not get a photo.
Spotacus did dash suddenly from the bar stool to the spare bedroom just before bedtime. WLToo went to see what was wrong and found Spotacus peering out the bedroom door. Something came up that he saw and was perturbed by, but we didn't see it. Since he's not bothered by foxes, I can only guess it was something larger, like a raccoon, opossum or coyote -- or maybe an armadillo, which we don't see on the property much at all, but they're around here.
Have diddled away the morning on the innerwebs, so I'd best get to doing something useful. Later, y'all.
