It's October and the swimming pool is still in the 80s, so Short Friend and I have been really enjoying swimming/floating/just messing around in the pool. But a cool front coming in tomorrow may end the swim season. Hope not, as it's going to warm back up the rest of the month. Some years I have been able to swim until mid-November - always hoping for that season.
Spotacus has been a very good boy for almost a week now. Something's gonna blow soon, I think...
WLToo had a colonoscopy today. No issues. Then we went to the Saltgrass Steak House and ate prime rib. It was very tender, but not particularly flavorful without the au jus. Guess we're just totally spoiled by the intense flavor and tenderness of the smoked meats we get at our local smokehouse restaurant.
Now we're both trying to stay awake (it was an 0430 wakeup for both of us) and not being particularly successful. Think I'll go float in the pool and drowse there.
