We're still working on recipes for all those peppers. Today was a potato-pepper salad. Pretty good, actually. Tomorrow is his turn....
Now that the air conditioner is off, Spotacus has figured out how to pull the screen door open, so he's wandering in and out at will. We just wish he'd close it behind him.
The buck is still hanging about the meadow. He's interested, but we haven't seen any of the does reciprocate yet. It's truce time when the feeder goes off, though.
The monarch butterflies are migrating through. We have a lot of frost weed, so they have something to eat. Haven't seen a single hummingbird for about a week, so I guess they've all migrated.
Tomorrow it's back to the vegetable garden. Found more of those grubs. Ewww.
