Thwarted by clouds again - no Leonids. Oh, well.
Cousin took granddaughter to Austin, where son lives. Daughter is driving in tonight and she and daughter will stay with son's family. Cousin and spouse will have some peace and quiet in their FW now.
But daughter is bringing their other dog, so Spotacus will have to put up with two dogs wandering around his property. As long as they don't bother him, he'll be ok.
WLToo is smoking the turkey today, so there won't be a mad rush tomorrow. Smells wonderful out there. Even has Spotacus curious.
The gathering will occur in early afternoon, and we'll start serving as soon as all the foods bring brought are heated up. Our sole job this year is the turkey, roasted sweet potatoes, and shredded brussel sprouts sauted in butter and balsamic vinegar. Nice to have a low stress Thanksgiving.
