Those rotters came, ate, and left all the leftovers with us!!! We'll be packaging up most of that turkey and freezing it and serving it at our Christmas party.
All those roasted sweet potato puree will be going into pies, pancakes, and some will go into the freezer.
The brussel sprouts made two meals, and they're gone.
Cousin went visiting all day, leaving three dogs here. She gave us a schedule for letting the dogs out to potty. But at the first let out, they didn't want to go back inside. So, per her directions, we left the door with the doggie ramp open, and they came and went all day. What mellow dogs they are, so very well behaved.
Spotacus stayed inside most of the day, but now that Cousin is back, he feels it's safe to go on patrol.
We made bone broth with the turkey carcass in our Instant Pot. Smells wonderful and tastes even better. Took less than two hours per batch, which beats all day simmering big time.
Timer beeped. Time to strain broth. Later, y'all.
