The dogs left this morning with Cousin. Tall Friend came home last night; Short Friend will be back next Wednesday. Things are gradually returning to Spotacus' normal, but I expect he'll be jumpy for a while yet.
Several young bucks have taken shelter in our meadow. If they can avoid being poached, they might sire some good looking fawns.
