Spotacus really, really wanted me to go with him once yesterday. Turns out he was trying to lead me over to L'Andante's door. WLToo had installed the screen grid and new step carpets, then left the door open. Spotacus wanted us to know the door was still open. He didn't go inside, just sat on the steps and looked at WLToo as though he thought his hoomens were a little dense...
Today, Sister brought Mom to visit, while Sister and WLToo collected some big rocks from the meadow. She's building a rock feature in her back yard, where there's an intermittent stream. Doing a lot of other work to get her house ready to sell. Then Short and Tall Friends drove her and Mom over to the house they're buying, then I took them on a neighborhood drive, so she could get a feel for the various lake neighborhoods. She saw several houses she'd like, but it's too soon to put in an offer on anything. She also wants to wait until Nephew One heads to Fort Rucker for warrant officer and pilot training this summer, and Nephew Two intends to enlist in either the Army or the Air Force in August. Once they're both gone, she intends to do a very serious cleanout of all the stuff they've accumulated and haven't used in years. Her goal is to be able to actually walk through the garage...
She'd also brought one of the dogs. Ruger's a nice dog, but she's an intruder as far as Spotacus is concerned. So he wasn't particularly happy. Threw up on the bedspread and two area rugs to make his point.
Think I'll go sit on the porch and enjoy the evening. Later, y'all.
