We're back in Tok. On Thursday, we'll head back into Canada and no internet. If all goes well, we'll take 10 days to transit Canada, then into Montana. At that point, Tall and Short Friend are thinking about splitting off and visiting some areas they've not been to (we have). Since we have appointments in early August, we'll just trundle on home, where the heat has caused our water service to invoke stage 2 restrictions. Earlier this year, it put us on stage 1, for the second time since we've lived there. Stage 2 is a first ever -- this could put a dent in swimming pool usage when we get home... Sigh.
Spotacus got a little nutty just as we began setting up in this campground. Whatever he saw outside was agitating him so badly that we turned on the air conditioner and closed the door so he can't see it. Seems whatever it is, he doesn't notice it from anywhere except through the screen door. He calmed down and now is ready for some dedicated people attention.
