I am so sorry for you and Spotacus. He was indeed lucky (or wise) to have found you that cold December. And through your posts, I know that you feel lucky to have known him. We lost our long-time cat after 2 years of fighting cancer last year and we lost our young kitty, who we only had for 6 years, this past August. The house is indeed too quiet without them.
I am glad to hear that you are willing to open your home and your hearts to a couple more lucky cats. My daughter is living with us while she transitions from college to career and she recently adopted a very cute little kitten who has brought so much life back to our house. I wish that for you too.
