WLToo didn't get an elk. All he saw were bulls, and his permit was for a cow. Sigh.
Tall Friend actually took the elk to a local processor here, who had never seen an elk come though. He was marveling over the size of the back strap.
Today was another disappointment. We were to pick up Obi-Wander after all her warranty work. Everything looked good, until we tried to operate the front hatch to the generator. Nope. A mechanic tried adjusting it for about an hour, replaced both struts, and it still wouldn't work right. He said he'd have to order parts. Since we couldn't very well drive down the road with the possibility of that hatch opening up and making like a front end loader, she stayed.
Meanwhile, Winnebago refused to fix the one leveler that would not fully retract. It worked just fine until the last morning of the Alaska trip, when it refused to fully retract. We did nothing at all to it. They said they don't cover when the piston is bent inside the shaft, like it's somehow our fault for using it. Sheesh. Guess we'll be having a chat with Winnebago tomorrow.
Czarny and Rudy are fascinated with outside now, so tomorrow I'll try introducing Czarny to the new kitty harness. When he's okay with it, I'll take him outside. Maybe Rudy watching will make it easier to get him into a harness. Riiiiight.....
Speaking of Czarny, it's playtime. Later, y'all.
