That WWW Cat Version is quite the thing. Ouch.
Short Friend gave the cats a present, more soft toys and jingle balls. The jingle balls are plastic with lots of holes, so they could pick them up and run, but they're not interested. Bring on the soft toys.
The does are hanging around our house now, spooky as can be. They dash when we go outside, then come right back. I think someone is still poaching, judging from their extreme spookiness, and the fact that we only see five now versus the six of a couple weeks ago. They know we're safe and being inside our fence is safe, so here they stay. Only one of the four older does looks pregnant, but there's still time for the others to start showing. They don't start dropping fawns until mid- to late May here.
Gave Czarny his Advantage Multi last night, while he was asleep on my hip. He slept through it. Rudy wasn't having it, period. Wasn't able to dope him until this afternoon, when he decided it was nap time on my hip. But as soon as he felt the wet on his skin, he pitched a serious fit. I still got it all onto him. Didn't see him again until just before dinner. He's now asleep on the love seat, but I'm sure if I walked over there, he'd dash away.
I have not yet tried the harness on either cat. Sneaking up on them appears the only way to get one into it initially, and I'm not yet up to that. I believe it's a two-person job, and Czarny is only just climbing onto WLToo's lap, at irregular intervals. Rudy will barely let him pet him so far.
