WLToo is smoking a Boston butt right now. Weather turned chilly and it's keeping the smoker a bit too cold, so once there's a smoke ring, he'll finish it off in the oven.
Short Friend had a great idea. Now that they live 3 miles away, we don't see each other daily and she misses that. So we're starting a weekly gathering for snacks and movies, as of tomorrow. That's why the Boston butt is in the smoker. Slices of it, breads for those who can eat it, cheeses, dips, popcorn, and movies. Sounds like a great day.
Bought a new printer yesterday. WLToo left the box on our bed while he set it up. Cats were afraid of it, even after moving it to the dining room floor for feline exploration. Until this morning, when I tossed a favorite toy inside. Czarny shot right in after it. Rudy was more cautious, but finally joined Czarny. They did fine until those dratted hoomans made noise...
They're asleep on the bed. It's afternoon nap time for all the guys around here. Have to keep nudging WLToo to go check on the meat. I'm not about to touch his toy...
Cleaned out some dried fruit and old nuts from the pantry and put them out along the deer trail yesterday. As of right now, no one's come by to sample them. All the green shoots around here are probably keeping them happy.
Think I'll go find that Keto Chocolate Avocado Bread recipe... Later, y'all.
