Magnus, we don't have it in this county. Yet. Still confined to far western counties.
The entire doe herd marched right up to the porch yesterday. They've noticed that WLToo finally got the feeder working again, so they eat down there, then come up to the house. The kittens run from window to window, staring.
This morning, I cut the knotted fringe off our serape bedspread. At least Czarny's not tried to eat the area rug fringe. Never had a cat with Pica before, so trying to find out what he'll try to eat and securing it is keeping me busy.
Czarny did get a bit of entertainment yesterday. We broke out the Kraken's milder companion, a robot floor mopping machine. It's very quiet, unlike the Roomba. Czarny followed it as it worked, getting closer and closer to it the longer it ran. By the time it finished, he was sitting less than three feet away. Next time, he'll probably start batting at it. It's too small for him to ride it, though. Floor looks good, and all the machine uses is warm water and a scrubber/mopping pad (washable). I was favorably impressed.
We brought Obi-Wander home yesterday. Finally. WLToo wanted to drive her, which was very nerve-racking for me. He just could not stay in the lane, drifting onto the shoulder again and again. He did get her home safely, but in future, I'm doing all the driving. Now we're working on a couple of short trips in March.
I hear the wind rising; must go close the slides. Later, y'all.
