We were so happy with how that rug looks that we ordered a bigger one for under the recliners. Amazing how much lighter the room looks.
The smaller rug:

And the bigger one:

Note the kitty tower in the window. Czarny slept in the bowl-looking thingie while the tower was still in the middle of the room. But now he's moved into a kitty bed we put on top of the cocktail table, next to the recliners.
Rudy's still being camera shy. He's found a second napping location: under the covers on the spare bed. We'll wait to change sheets until just before visitors arrive.
This week was doctor visits. Both of us are doing great. I won't have to see one cardiologist for a year now -- he's the "electrician" who did the catheter ablations. We decided to celebrate the good news by buying a half gallon of ice cream (no sugar added). Can we celebrate or what? :C
Spring has definitely sprung here. The bluebonnets are out early and the overall display is looking to be huge this year. Our own wildflowers are not quite ready, but the meadow should soon be a feast of yellow.
WLToo picked up some Roma tomatoes, poblanos, cantaloupe, and Brussel sprouts to transplant into the garden tomorrow. This will be our second try at Brussel sprouts. Hope it works this time.
It's dinner time. Time to steam some rice to go with the General Tso chicken. Later, y'all.
