We don't have any permanent resident neighbors who would do that, Magnus. The neighbors to the north are only here a few weeks each year, and the other house is a short term rental, which hasn't had any renting it since March. To the south, we only see them show up 1-2 times a year, if that often (but they just can't emotionally let go of Dad and Mom's old vacation home).
The cart won't negotiate the stairs, and I don't want to haul stuff through the adjacent building to the only elevator, then back around the two buildings to where I can park my truck. I'll just pack stuff and leave it in the corner of that room. Some things I'll simply take over to Sister's, without bothering to pack it, such as Mom's oversized genealogy binders.
It's partly sunny, so we hope to see if WLToo's latest experiment is going to work. He bought a submersible pump (a small sump pump), attached a black hose to it, dropped the pump into the pool, then laid the hose where the sun can shine upon it, and ran the other end back into the pool. If it works, the pool temperature will rise dramatically in a day or so. It's swimming temperature for me, but not for him, so he's trying to heat it up. If it works, it just might extend the swim season a bit, since we do get a lot of sun in the autumn and winter, too.
Haven't seen Leoghaire for a few days. She's so close to dropping the fawn(s) that she's probably out deciding where she'll have it(them).
Last night, we were invited to dinner at Tall and Short Friend. But we paid a price: had to assemble Tall Friend's exercise bike. Today we gave them a non-skid pad we'd once used on a exerciser we no longer have, since the bike insisted on sliding too easily across their tile floor.
Mom needs more library books, and the library notified me they're ready for pickup, so Later, y'all.
