Rained again yesterday and early this morning. We're seriously saturated. It cooled off this morning, so I did not even run the air conditioner in Obi-Wander when we picked her up this morning. As I got within a couple miles of home, a car behind me started flashing its lights. Couldn't see anything or figure out why, so I kept going. It followed me right up to our gate, then came alongside and said one of the basement hatch doors was open. Still couldn't see which one, so when I got to the house, I tried every compartment door, and none appeared to be loose enough to open. So the recall on the recall is yet to be fixed. Sigh.
Leoghaire came by yesterday and ate some celery I offered her. As she arrived, we could hear a fawn bleating somewhere; it wasn't hers. She still hasn't dropped one. WLToo thought she looked slightly less pregnant this afternoon, but she's still distended, so I think the fawn(s) is lining up for birth. Anytime now.
Czarny let me sleep through the night last night, first time since Rudy vanished. Right now, he's chasing bugs on the deck, after demanding and receiving some close, personal kitty attention. Such a sweet cat, except for his habit of biting me when he's really happy...
It's time for a swim. Later, y'all.
