Thanks, Stephany. Will send that to SF tonight.
We were in the swimming pool a bit ago and saw something rather large crawling up the side of the garage. WLToo got out, grabbed the binoculars, and saw it was a tarantula hawk hauling a paralyzed tarantula to its lair, wherever that is. Huge wasp, that one definitely does not want to be stung by, although it is not aggressive. Tarantula Hawk
One website said if one does sting a human, just lay on the ground and scream for three minutes, then the pain will go away. Just sit down and start screaming!
I'll watch my step...
Randolph goes in for neutering in the morning. We have to put away all his food at 2200 tonight, but since we don't go to bed until midnight normally, we'll have to put away Czarny's, too, until we shut Randolph into his bedroom. Then first thing in the morning, we have to take up Randolph's water and prevent him from coming out to the main room, where the water fountain is. Going to be a mite complicated. At least Czarny will have an entire day in the house without having to be paranoid that the little guy will run up on him and disturb his relax.
We haven't had to do this in nearly ten years, and Spotacus was actually pretty laid back about the whole process. Czarny and Rudy came to us already fixed.
I need ice cream. Later, y'all.
