Boy, did I learn a hard lesson yesterday. Do not drink a meal replacement shake for breakfast and then not eat lunch. When the headache became savage, I turned the truck into the first Taco Bell I saw. We got a very late lunch, consumed it in the truck under a shade tree, and then continued to Sister's house for offloading. Got home after dinnertime, which Mom had gone ahead and eaten, escorted her to the Fifth Wheel, and stayed in the swimming pool until we were thoroughly pruny.
Today, we ate a proper breakfast before heading out. Then we packed the truck by noon, stopped by a Popeye's on the way to Sister's, and ate lunch at an appropriate time. I even risked a glucose spike by having a banana pudding.
We've gotten most of the breakables over to Sister's, and the remaining boxes are for the movers. Still have a fair amount of packing to do, but I'm seeing progress. Once that packing's done, we'll pick up the bits and pieces and stuff the movers won't move and get it out. Then we'll collapse -- not really, I have to finish editing WLToo's latest book, which he wants to get published next month, while we're still in hurricane season, since the storyline involves two hurricanes, one in the Gulf and one in the Atlantic, hitting the US at the same time. At least that doesn't involve packing boxes....
Speaking of swimming, it's time for my daily workout. Later, y'all.
