We actually got to eat outside last night. Lovely evening, no wind, huge moon rising. Then today, the wind is howling. Must be spring...
Pool and spa are looking much better. Between running the pump on low for several hours each day and running the pool vacuum daily, it should be clear by Wednesday -- not that it's anywhere near warm enough to be swimming. Soon, though, soon.
Tall and Short Friends went with us to a local Guadalajara-style restaurant today. Man, are we stuffed to the gills, and it was fabulous. We'll be adding it to our short list of favorite comfort foods places.
We're hosting the framily Easter dinner next week. Hope the wind isn't so high that we can't eat outside. We have a lot more room for folks outside than inside.
One of the barn swallows has decided riding on the porch ceiling fan is cool. The wind is moving the paddles gently, and the bird just sits on top and goes around and around. Will try to get a video, but as inclined to fly away as it is, I'm a little pessimistic.
The rosemary shrubs are mostly dead. We'll cut away the dead parts and see if what's left can fill in as nicely as they used to be. The other bushes are just dead, so we'll hook up a chain to the pickup and yank' em out. They were totally out of control, anyway.
Czarny wants to go for a walk. Later, y'all.
