Short Friend has set up a guy to come check out their FW and make any necessary repairs, then they'll put it up for sale. As fast as RVs move around here, shouldn't be any issues selling it.
We have to replace our main power box Wednesday. Good thing it's only in the 70s this week, as I don't know how long it will take the electric company to do their thing before the electrician can replace the main circuit box. At least if it was way too hot, we could always fire up the RV generator and cool it down...
The RV water heater is arguing with Spousal Unit over replacing the anode. He can screw it in just so far before it stops. Guess he'll be off to the hardware store shortly, to find a brush that will really clean those threads, since the little brush he's using doesn't seem to do the job for either of us.
I got most of Obi-Wander's interior cleaned up, ready for our first trip. Kept the door open so Czarny could wander in and out. He was completely bumfuzzled at one point. He'd been exploring without the slides open, and then came back to a much bigger area, so he had to sniff the whole thing all over again.
Since the weather's being so nice, we're going to "camp" in the RV for a couple nights, so he can get used to RV life before I fire up that engine. His first trip, we're locking him in the carrier, and will stop periodically to let him out to pee. We don't know what his "I gotta peeeee!!!" sound is yet and don't want him stuck in a wet carrier. Once he's used to riding around, we may leave the door off the carrier, to see if he'll do a Spotacus and be as chill as that worthy traveler was.
I really miss Spotacus. What a great traveling cat he was.
Back to the electricity: we were standing by the power pole chatting with the electrician. Suddenly, I realized we were standing directly under the barn swallow nest, and they were not at all happy. We moved and one immediately nested, while the other perched above the door about 10 feet away and fussed at us. No sign of activity in the north nests yet.
Czarny wants to go for a walk. He's getting nervous about walking by himself, now that the swooping birds are back. Later, y'all.
