I have this pelican . . . .
. . . . and he seems to like my BBQ. Can any of you ornithologists out there tell me if that is OK? :@ I am presuming that grilled fish would be the most appropriate entree? :h

I don't have a cat. As a matter of fact, I think I actually had a topic stating such. If I did have a cat, I might try feeding the pelican cat food, but I'm pretty sure he likes grilled fish better, especially if the cat food was that nasty old Purina stuff with byproducts and all that other bad stuff in it! :E- Dont try to feed him by hand.That barb at the end of their beak is sharp. Learned that the hard way when fishing in Florida as a kid. Had one that would hang with me all day while fishing the piers at Bradenton Beach. Finally gave in a feed him a small fish and he filleted my finger. My fault not his.
- If you encourage it to stay around you will have one very 'crappy' picnic table.
- That is one of my pet peeves. All the annoying wild life bothering me and walking through my site.

Mr. Pelican is in love.... - Terrific photo. Double ditto re don't feed the pelican. They defecate indiscriminately and leave a smelly mess. I'd discourage him from coming round.
