Out of three vet hospitals in our area, two have recently sold to a large national vet conglomerate. They came in and offered the vets TWO times what their businesses were worth.....so the vets sold out. Prices immediately went up, service immediately went down!
Unfortunately, one of those was our vet clinic. The vet owner that sold out is now "on leave" for a family health problem. That has been 4 months, so she isn't coming back and doesn't have the courtesy or decency to face us locals that supported her for 15 years.
