Unfortunately, it has been the "norm" for countless years. Not just veterinarians, but ANY person employed into public service occupations. I think, it's just becoming more noticeable by those of us who were brought up to respect others and treat others kindly.
Unfortunately, we are living with a very spoiled generation of people who feel they are entitled to act, behave, and do whatever they want, treat anyone any way they want, and everyone better get out of their way and bend over and kiss their A $$ es. But, one word directed toward them that is somehow politically incorrect and they are ready to come after YOU with a law suit or worse!
There was a time folks kept their mouths shut and simply protested with their non-support of a business if they got service that did not meet their expectations. Today, they just bark with their entitlements and unfortunately, the poor public servant has to take the abuse. It isn't right, but it is the way it is.
That's why I show no sympathy to redneck morons that think they are entitled to stomp all over me! And thank God above I'm not working in a public service occupation any more!
My Vets office are fantastic. Everyone just loves those folks. I thinks they're a little (well, ok ... a lot!!!) expensive! But they do good service! We're always thankful and appreciate them.
Can you just imagine how abused auto mechanics are! (Or worse ... RV repair service folks!)
Agree but why the use of the word redneck very odd choice of words
