...maybe it was because they had not hooked up the water to all the toilets they had along that wall.

No worrys, my little Summy has IBS, which means when shes gotta go she goes....In the pet store, the groomers, the vets waiting room. She doesnt care where she goes..lol

I've got one for you. My then 4 year-old daughter and her 6 year-old brother were rock climbing the pinnacle at REI in Bloomington, MN, when said daughter "let loose" about 40 feet up in the air.

My son was laying next to me watching her climb and we were both laying next to the store employee that was belaying her... Thank God none of us were directly under her.

She let a little pee go, and my son said, "What was that?" Then the entire bladder emptied... My son turned to the employee and said, "We are SO sorry!" The guy was so taken aback by this 6 year-old saying that... well he just looked up at my very embarrassed daughter and said, "Well, you may as well continue and ring the bell!" She did.

They shut down that side of the pinnacle. I asked him if I could climb up and wipe it down or scrub it.... He said it wasn't the first time it happened (uck) and that they had the whole thing cleaned every Monday...

She is not a fan of me telling this story.

Interesting turn this thread has made :B I won't share the types of things I've had my hands and other body parts (feet, face, arms legs) in over my career. Like most here, I wash after dealing with effluent.

The only caveat, a person who is immune compromised due to disease, medications or treatments probably does need to take those precautions.

Sorry I'm laughing hysterically - been there, done that. Also one of the reasons I laugh at people who dress in haz-mat suits to dump their black tank. REALLY????? Did they dress similarly to change their kids' diapers??

I do wash after dumping,but a long,long time ago,I pumped septic tanks for almost a year after the Boeing crunch in Seattle and never got sick. I do clean up everything and keep it all put away neatly.I just figger that when it's family,you know where it came from. Several weeks ago,I watched a guy next to me in a campground in his 43' tag axle with macerator. He came out to dump his rig with knee high rubber boots and elbow length rubber gloves with a paper face mask and glasses. All he had to do was pull the hose out and stuff it in the hole and pull the plug. When he was done and everything all coiled up,he got out a sprayer tank and sprayed everything well with a bleach solution.

Makes you wonder if that person ever raised children or pets? Because with either of 'em, you're gonna get covered in something disgusting, sooner or later....

I think my worst moment was decades ago - feeding horses, and when I got to the wall-mounted grain feeder the farthest from the door, with 1,000 lbs of hungry horse doing a "happy dance", I noticed that one of the horses had backed up to it and filled it with "road apples" :-(

If I went back into the barn to get something to scoop it clean, the unfed horse was going to create havoc with the other horses.... so yes, with my bare hand, I cleared the feeder :-(

Poop happens. As long as you wash up afterwards, it's not the worst thing in the world....

For those who also go to Facebook, there's a recent post made by Mike Rowe (Dirtiest Jobs), apologizing for his newly-adopted mini-sized mutt "Freddy" who pooped on the "Apple Genius Bar" (customer service desk) - and depending on how you feel about Apple products, leads to much hilarity as people comment on his post :-) So clearly it can happen to anyone...LOL!

He usually posts "Fridays With Freddy" - a review of his human's foibles from the viewpoint of a cute puppy. And don't drink anything while reading - Mike is probably more funny unscripted, than on TV

Our Cosmo,the wonder cocker,is always walked outside our local Petsmart 'cuz he pooped once in the store and once in the salon. He seems to know the difference between when we're just shopping and grooming. The grooming walk takes longer and has a set pattern. Putting it off, I guess.
Now at Home Depot,no problem,out of the car,hit the first available bush or beauty bark patch and then haul a** for the first orange apron he can see to get his treat.

Better than being in the hardware store looking for your daughter so you can check out and hear her yell from the plumbing dept "daddy wipe my butt".
