Our old Jack Russell used to catch the squirrels all the time. A couple of bites, and they were toast! At 19 yrs, she was rather slowed by arthritis, but still kept them on notice. I lost her 3 years ago to failing kidneys, and she was both deaf, and failing eyesight. Our current three, are Queensland Heeler/German Shorthair mix, and Coyote/Border Collie mix. NO ONE, and I do mean NO ONE gets by them!!
