Had to smile on your response fuzzbutt. I can just see those dogs tearing out to the RV to go on a trip, and I hope our dogs react the same. My primary concern is that one of them is getting older and she has some hip issues from time to time. So far however, it seems that the steepness of the steps isn't a real problem. I guess if we can climb in as we age, so can the dogs.
