Loss of our precious Great Dane Cassie

So sorry for your loss. When we lost our sheltie Champ, we went camping the next day because we had a trip planned and were taking him and our new sheltie, Andy, to our favorite campground. I'm glad we did, because Andy would have been cheated out of being at a new place, meeting new people, smelling new smells and seeing the Mississippi River for the first time. He's also been to Lake Bemidji, Martha's Vineyard and Cape Cod, Cheyenne WY and Scottsbluff NE, and western Michigan where he saw awesome Lake Michigan. Our other dog Champ travelled with us to Colorado, North Carolina, Florida, Minnesota, Wisconsin, etc. Andy is seeing some things Champ didn't see, just as he has not seen all that Champ did with us. When you're ready, give another dog a chance to explore and see this beautiful country with you. May you be comforted by your memories of your times with Cassie, and may you, in time, have more memories with another faithful canine companion.
