- nabiExplorerI am so sorry for your loss of Snowflake...hopefully in time memories of all those camping trips will help heal your broken heart.

So sorry for this painful loss. In the 2+ years since my beloved Sam crossed the Rainbow Bridge, we've lost 6 others - all our dogs are rescues and these were all just about the same age. The pain just kept coming. I just got to the point where I felt the tug at my heartstrings to bring another furbaby into the family. We welcomed Biscuit and Lily, 2 little lab sisters that were dumped at about 6 weeks, found and taken to a wonderful shelter where they were posted on Petfinder. We couldn't separate them, so life it twice as much fun as we planned. You'll never forget Snowflake, but the pain will be less and one day you're heart will let you know it's the right time to give another dog a great forever home. Deepest Sympathy. - SooperDaddyExplorerWe all know what the loss of loving dog means to us...we also all know the memory of each and every dog we have been blessed with will live as long as we do.
I love this quote from Will Rogers..who says it better than I could...
"If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went." -- Will Rogers
"You think dogs will not be in heaven? I tell you, they will be there long before any of us." - Robert Louis Stevenson - Code2HighExplorerSo sorry for your loss. When we have an animal in our lives for a long time, they are a part of so many other things that happen in our lives, if only because they're the ones there when your heart is broken. And when they go, they leave a big hole.

THANK YOU to each and everyone who sent condolences...It means so VERY much to hear from others...I lost my father mother and only brother during Snowflakes life but dealing with her death seems worse than any...I know we have a special bond with our pets.
The pure and perfect love of a dog, we are blessed to have earned even once in our lives. I am so glad you had Snowflake to comfort you through all your family losses in her eleven years. Good job, Snowflake. - magnusfideExplorer IIYou have our heartfelt sympathy.

- pa_travelerExplorerSorry to hear, you gave her a wonderful life, try and find comfort in that.
- CatandJimExplorerVery sorry to hear of your loss. We are close to having to say "farewell" to one of our dogs. It is so hard.....
Rest assured Snowflake will live on in your memories. When you recall your adventures I hope they will bring a smile to your face, even if, at times it is mixed with some tears.
When the time is right, you can honor her memory by adopting another dog to share life with... Until then please accept my condolences. - SpleenstomperExplorer

It is a rough day when it is time for your heart dog to leave you. They become so much a part of your life with their bright eyes and happy smiles. For me a new pup helps. Not so much for others. You have my deep sympathy.
I agree, I need new one right away.
