Our Standard Poodle was finally diagnosed with Atypical Addisons late last year after two bouts of severe hypoglycemia leading to seizures.It is atypical in that only the corticosteroid production has stopped but not the mineralocorticoid. She is on 2.5mg of prednisone daily and has regular lab work, thanks to a smart vet at Tufts.
