Oh yeah, we still have Sunny and Maddie! They're ours, not fosters. We adopted Sunny when we realized that he would probably not get adopted otherwise. He's a work in progress - making baby steps, slowly but surely. He doesn't run away from us very much when we go to pick him up. He still cringes, but works bravely to hold his ground. He enjoys sitting with us on the couch, once picked up; it's just the initial approach that freaks him out. Old habits/fears are hard to overcome, I guess. We've now had him about 3 months, so we're happy with the progress he's made.
