We just started RVing. Our experience is that the campgrounds check to see if you have a pet, if you don't they give you one! lol;) We have always taken our dog. You have gotten the necessary information. If you can crate train it is always good camping or not. We don't leave the campgrounds much, if you plan to leave for most of the day that could be a problem. All campgrounds we have visited have pet rules, check the rules before you go! Traveling with our dog is one of the advantages of RVing. Good luck and happy camping.
