As suggested he wears harness vs a collar. Pomeranians have windpipes that could easily be injured by just a collar. His harness transfers the stress to his shoulders if he pulls at the leash. The shelter actually gave us a cat harness for the trip home. We took him to PetSmart and got him one with a better design. In xxs of course.
He was chipped at the shelter, and we got his rabies shot when we took him to meet our vet.
He sleeps in his crate and it will fit in the RV with no problem, so he will have a safe place with his blanket.
