What I have at home is in the camper & truck (extra leaches, harnesses, water bowls). Check with your vet on preventive meds to take along for that just in case happens. At Petco found a tool for pulling ticks off without harming the dog. We have all 3 with chips, numbers written down with our vets contact & a photo of the dogs. Small dogs do best with harnesses on, but have seen several very large dogs with them on too. Kennel for a safe place, I have the soft side & set them outside when we do for them to get out of the weather. Plus I can control them from barking telling them to get in the kennel. Two of our dogs like to sleep under blankets cheap ones from dollar stores. Once you start traveling with the pet more ideas will come. We never leave home without them.
