Boondocking public lands in Idaho. Yep, cattle ranchers can use them too and that is cow poo. If that is too disgusting then find an RV Resort with lots of pavement, barking dogs, screaming kids, loud music and drunks. BTW, horse poo smells good in comparison!!

I wonder what the Pioneers thought when embarking on the Oregon Trail for a six month trip just feet from the producing end of the livestock that was pulling them?
If one of them could time travel to the present, maybe they would be disgusted by the effluent coming out of a truck's tailpipe.

After experiencing the horse poop, dog poop is nothing any more!

So, I suppose ... just leave the dog poop. Why not? If everyone picked up after their dog, that would knock out about 2/3rds of the complaining that goes on, on RV.net. :)

I do not believe horse riders clean up after their mounts. That is probably one of several reasons why they have separate equestrian trails.

You might say, they are above the fray.

You gotta be kidding.....#2 in the campsite? You just watched it happen? I find that hard to believe. If true why wouldn't you put a stop to it and report it to Park Rangers? They would be all over that.
