Question specific to those who camp at dog events

Sorry to clog up the Pet Stop with this kind of question, and I know it would be better answered on the RV-K9 yahoo group, but my login isn't working, so here we are.:)

Those of you who camp at dog shows/agility trials/herding trials/etc...
in your opinion, is one of the yellow Champion generators too loud? Assuming that all generator curfew hours set by the event were observed.

As for others reading the post, please be aware that this kind of camping is far different than a campground experience, and, like any sub-group, has its own unique set of social do's and don'ts.

Thanks in advance.
  • Couple of tips,

Make sure that your CO meter is working inside your RV. If the exhaust from your generator, another one, or a vehicle that is ideling nearby, it can put exhaust into the RV and poison anything inside it. The CO detector can trip at a low level, before the headaches and death happens.

Make sure that the exhaust is pointing away from the other RV's and any dog crates.

The noise level at the camping area is probably fairly loud, and don't worry about the noise your generator will make. My built in Onan is just as loud, though it has a plastic enclosure that perhaps brings down the noise a tiny amount.

    Enjoy the air conditioning.

    Fred.
