ROTTEN TOOTH (Update 11/24/2013)
Took our soon to be 20 year old cat, Blue, to the vet yesterday because one half of her face was swollen...turned out to be a rotten tooth is her upper gums (I didn't think she had any teeth left)... ...

FINAL UPDATE
Wne to the vet last night for the checkup...rotten tooth is till there but I have not really seen it bothering her so for now we will go with that...
As for her ear...cleared up a little on the surface but not down inside...still liquid and puss down inside so the vet, and I, are convinced it is more than likely a tumor (sure I can have the vet put her under anesthesia and tell me yes it is a tumor but why?)...
We have spent the last 20 years together and will continue to do so until her quality of life gets to a point where the decision we all dread making will have to be made...until that time we will enjoy each other
