ROTTEN TOOTH (Update 11/24/2013)

I am so sorry for the loss of Miss Blue. Just rips your heart out doesn't it? Last winter our 14 year old kitty was having trouble with a tooth and we agreed to have the vet pull it. Kitty never recovered from it, even though she was a healthy cat. We fed her from a dropper for two weeks, at which point she couldn't even swallow water and we had to let her go. Would our story have a different ending if we hadn't agreed to extract that tooth? We will never know and I have to stop beating myself up over it. She was a 'rescue' from the time she was a small kitten, she gave and received a lot of love and happiness. I still cry thinking about it.
I know we will meet up with all our beloved pets at that rainbow bridge and that brings me comfort.
