This study indicates that with a few different prescribed treatments all infected dogs were sero-negative to lyme antibodies.

The authors noted that there isn't agreement on if treatment should be performed on sero-positive dogs that are showing no symptoms. My issue with this is that symptoms may not be seen for pet dogs where we can see them in our working dogs only while under the stress of working.
