Scalibor Flea and Tick Collars

When we had our dogs at the vet yesterday, she asked if the Revolution they are on is effective against ticks and we told her no, that's the one area where it seems to fail. She gave us a couple of Scalibor Flea and Tick collars and said from her research they are safe to use with the Revolution (as well as 4 or 5 other things like Frontline). My own research came up with the same answer. I was on Merck's website to try to find contact info to ask them directly but they only have a phone number. Has anyone tried these collars, do they work, and have you read/heard of any issues with using the two products together?

Keep in mind that what ever is put into the dogs blood stream is filtered by the kidneys and liver. If you have a young large dog it can handle the toxins for awhile. If your dog is small and older you do not want to see the side effects. Believe me I have seen them. The collars and drops are very toxic.
