Silver Dollar size 'Lump' on 6 yr. old peek-a-poo!
Our six yr. old peek-a-poo is in good health. But, a few days ago - DW detected a 'siver dollar' size lump on "Maggie's" side. Following some heated exchange of words - we did visit our local Vet here in South Texas. This Vet. and his assistant performed a fine needle aspiration and biopsy.
Results are negitive and he recommends we monitor the lump closely and if necessary he'll do a complete biopsy and go from there. DW now tells me the location is in the exact same spot where our Canadian Vet. gave Maggie her 'Shots' (She had more then one); i.e. Lime D. plus Rabis, etc
prior to leaving Canada about a month ago. I personnally suspect an insect bite as Maggie often lies on the ground in front of our rig. Any thoughts (comments or insight) into this matter is welcome. Tkx. in advance - BB:h
